Welcome to Shit Cities the website that acknowledges the one thing we all know when we travel and that is that some cities are just shit. Yep we said it, because for every London, Milan and Beijing there is a Run corn, Livorno and Taiyuan looking right back at you. But, you know what we actually like to explore a shit city when we travel, so that is why we have created Shitcities.com, not to mock you understand (well just a little maybe), but instead to embrace Shit Cities in all their glory. We also want this to be a community affair, so will be actively seeking contributions and suggestions for where you think are the “best” Shit Cities.
Will we offend people? Of course we will, because not only to people love to be offended, but many can’t look at things objectively. I once remember calling Brunei boring and getting ripped apart online. Now there are lot of great things about Brunei, but objectively it is not exactly Las Vegas!
In the end though we really don’t care if we offend people and this is to such a degree that we will even offer Shit City awards! Will anyone accept said honor’s? Who knows, but in a worst case scenario we will merely go there and give out the award on the street.
